Prudence Marie Thompson, 94, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Bridgeport, Texas.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, February 27th at Community Church of River Oaks in Fort Worth with Reverends Glenn Randall and Doug Martin officiating.
Prudence was born August 28, 1915 in Coppell, Texas to James Otis and Eliza Leon Cribbs Thompson. She began working for the Fort Worth Star Telegram in March, 1945 and worked in about every department. Predence retired January, 1978 after training many of the personnel.
Left behind to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Prudence is preceded in death by her parents; two infant siblings, brothers, Trucy, T.C. and Willie B Thompson and sisters, Ester Parrish and Bertha Gentry.
Family suggests memorials be made to a church mission fund of choice.
