COTTONDALE -- Quint Bridges, 78, a retired employee of Eastman Kodak and a rancher passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in Cottondale.
Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Craig Erb will officiate. Pallbearers: Leslie Hughes, Andy Stevenson, Randall Clark, Jason Mitschre, Terry Hardin, and Sam Erwin.
Quint was born on September 10, 1930, the son of Joseph Henry and Rose (Taylor) Bridges, in Cottondale.
Quint was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Wynell Clifton, Veneta Moll, and Gracie Rowland; his brothers, Allen Bridges, Lowell Bridges, and Big Lynn Bridges.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Helena Bridges of Cottondale; son Jackie Bridges and wife Dona of Campbell, Texas; grandchildren, Tonya Bridges, Heather Bridges; sisters, June Schilling, Mary Jewel Hughes, Kay Clark, and Jane Burgess.
