Raleigh Wayne Miller

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Hughes officiating. Interment will follow service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur. Family visitation is 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Bruce Malcolm, Butch Wilkerson, Phil Babcock, Phil Haynes, Dave Miles and Kevin Bramlett. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Watts and Jerry Lee.

Raleigh was born November 1, 1946 in Decatur, Texas to Jesse Coleman "J.C." and Lillian Opal (Beall) Miller. He married Linda Carol Shaw on December 31, 1986 in Hurst, Texas. Raleigh retired from Reltec in Bedford, Texas as a software engineer and he served in the United States Air Force.

Survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda Miller of Decatur; two sons, Michael Coleman Miller and wife Amy of Silver Spring, MD, Charles Christian Miller of Dallas; two grandchildren, Anna and Carter Miller of Silver Spring, MD.

Raleigh is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Miller.
