BRIDGEPORT -- Ralph Howard Smith, 79, a retired heavy equipment operator, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors: Sons, Daniel, Edward, Floyd and Joe Don Smith; daughters, Mary Smith Burdette and Sandra Stump; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy, Walter and Arthur Smith; and sisters, Lunette Gibson and Helen Jernigan.
