Ramona Allen

Bridgeport ~ Ramona Kathryn Allen, 86, went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 15, 2020 in Denton, Texas.

Mass of Christian burial  is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at St. John The Baptizer with burial in East Bridgeport cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, Texas.

Fr. Reehan Soosai Anthony will officiate. Pallbearers include Tony Sanford, Michael Kinkade, Bruce Sanford, Jeff Kinkade, Alan Sanford, J.T. Sanford, and Richard Scott.

Ramona was born on July 14, 1933 to Cosmos and Katheryn (Weigel) Staab in Catherine, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Bobby Earl Allen on January 14, 1960. Ramona went on to work at First National Bank Bridgeport note department as a Supervisor. She was also a member at St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church of Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Earl Allen; 5 brothers, Arthur, Virgil, Leland, Eldon, and Eddie Staab (brother-in-law); 4 sisters,  Fabiola Hirschfeld, Esther Leckner, Betty Christenson, and DoraLee Scott.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, God children, extended family and a host of friends.
