BRIDGEPORT -- Ray McComis, 75, a retired oilfield supervisor, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. Burial: East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 Wednesday. Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Jean; sons, Kenneth and wife, Debbie, Keith and wife, Carolyn, David and wife, Brenda, and Randy and wife, Shelley; eight grandchildren: Michael, Brandon, and Jared McComis, Stephanie McElroy, Whitney, Katie, Kristen, and Alyssa McComis; five great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Aiden, Junner, Mason, and Tyler; brother, Ed McComis; and sisters, Pauline McComis and Madeline Skeens. Pallbearers will be: Randy Kleam, Ken Kilpatrick, Dennis Reasoner, Butch Laxson, Jimmy Meyers, and Tommy Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be: Joe Dosier, Doug Molloy, Richard Mitchum, Bobby Brazier, and Charley Grill.
