Raymond Minor Headley

Funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at First Baptist Church in Boyd with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Gary Sessions and Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Jeremy Meador, Kevin Stice, Tom Young, Miles Headley, Daniel Headley and Roger Stice. Honorary pallbearer is Bobby Headley.

Raymond was born on August 8, 1946 to Alonzo and Ethyl (Pate) Headley in Leeds, Alabama. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Raymond was united in marriage to Bobbie Lenore Brown on November 8, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a member at Zion Temple Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Carl, Richard, and John Edward Headley; and 2 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Bobbie Headley of Paradise; his son, Bobby Headley and wife Georgia of Paradise; his daughters, Barbara Stice and husband Roger, Cheryl Headley, and Rayma Young and husband Tom, all of Paradise; 9 grandchildren, Miles, Johnna, Kevin, Daniel, Stacy, Lisa and husband Patrick Brown, Jessica and husband Jeremy Meador, Drake, Bradley, and Kendale; 4 great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Lillian, Madalynn, and Jaidyn; 4 sisters, Martha Simmons, Flossie Hunter, Lucille Chaffin, all of Poolville, Jean Hunter of Chico; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Bobby and Family,
