Boyd ---- Raymond Earl Waldrip, 59, an employee of the Federal Bureau of Engraving and Printing went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at his home in Boyd.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home. Graveside: 3:00 p.m. Monday at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in LaRue, Texas. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Reverend Millard Buchholz will officiate.

Raymond was born February 22, 1951 to Raymond and Sybil (Adams) Waldrip in Fort Worth. He married Anita Patterson on February 27, 1975 in Hurst, Texas. Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Waldrip.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Anita Waldrip of Boyd; his sons, Shawn Jeffrey Waldrip of Boyd, Dee Jay Waldrip of Boyd; his grandchildren, Marlene, Ethan and Allie Waldrip; his brother, J.T. Thompson and wife Joyce of Boyd; his sisters, Shirley Smith of Argyle, Helen Ledoux and husband Danny of Sulphur, Louisiana; other relatives and a host of friends.
