Reba (Parish) Boase

Bridgeport ~ Reba Parish Boase, 98, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Tomball.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Rev. Sam Caldwell will officiate.

Reba was born on September 27, 1917 to Thomas and Flora (McCurry) Parish in Bridgeport. She was united in marriage to James Boase on April 7, 1940 in Bridgeport. Reba was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, James Boase; and her siblings, Cleburne Parish, Terrell Parish, Vernon Parish, Denver Parish, Ruby Ludington, and Ruth Coffman.

Those left behind to cherish hers memory are her daughter, Beverly Kay Copeland and husband Dan; her son, Scott Edward Boase and wife Donna; her daughter, Beckye Ann Roach and husband David; her grandchildren, Wesley Covington, Chad Edward Boase, Brent Carter Boase, Brittany Tania Crawford, Leslie Roach, Natalie Roach, and Travis Roach; her great grandchildren, Arbrianna Covington, Aidan Boase, Austin Boase, Taylor Boase, and Avery Crawford; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, Reba asks that you direct The Lord’s kindest to Kingdom Come Ministries, P O Box 94555, Lubbock, TX 79493. This Church in the Park Bus ministry provides Bibles, Bible study, Food, and Baptism services to local young children.

The Family would like to express special thanks to our mother’s caregivers over the past 2 years. Govenor’s Ridge in Decatur and The Heritage in Tomball.
