Bridgeport~ Rebecca Jean Cole, 62, of Bridgeport, went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 19th, 2022 in Decatur.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Gibtown Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Dennis Arnold will officiate. Pallbearers are to include, Robert Franklin, Bobby Franklin, Andrew Franklin, Kody Chamberlain, Dylan Cawley, John Cawley, and Jacob Cole.
Rebecca was born on March 31, 1960 to Bob Ray and Nancy (Moorman) Franklin in Bridgeport. She worked at JJ’s Designs and Boutique and enjoyed spending time with her family. Rebecca will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ray Franklin.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jody Cole and Charlotte Cole both of Bridgeport; her son, Jacob Cole of Florida; her goddaughter, Rhiannon Arnold and husband Micah of Claude, her grandchildren, Kalynn Whitehead, Wesley Whitehead, Hunter Whitehead, Alyssa Cawley, Dylan Cawley, Marcus Arnold, and Annalise Arnold; 1 great-grandchild, Leighton Cawley; her mother, Nancy Franklin of Sanger; her brothers, Robert Franklin and wife Dorothy of Sanger and Andy Franklin and wife Deborah of Bridgeport; her sister, Judi Delagarza and husband Joe of Haslet; her godsister, Susan Scourfield and husband Mike of Bowie; numerous extended nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
