Rhoda Larue (Lyons) Muirheid

Boyd~ Rhoda Larue (Lyons) Muirheid, 89, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Service will be held at a later date to honor Rhoda.

Rhoda was born on September 24, 1931 to Arnold Justin and Laura (Carter) Lyons in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was a homemaker and cherished spending time with her loving family and friends. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, James Albert Muirheid, Sr. on August 5, 1950 in Fort Worth. Rhoda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Alfred Cockrum.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are loving husband of 70 years, James Muirheid, Sr. of Boyd; her children, James Muirheid, Jr. of Ft. Worth, Laura Elaine Terry and husband David of Rhome, and Timothy Arnold Muirheid and wife Leslie of Ft. Worth; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of good friends.
