Rhonda Lynn (Davis) Scherb

Decatur ~ Rhonda Lynn Scherb, 59, went to be with our Lord Sunday, November 20, 2022.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at The Rock Church in Bridgeport with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Tim Jenkins will officiate. Pallbearers are Justin West, Dean Bible, Jonathon Jones, Junior Lopez, Micheal Simmons, Corey Lamar, Jimmy Gardner, and Wesley McNorton

Rhonda was born December 21, 1962 to Johnny Lloyd and Ruth Darlene (Grokett) Davis in Dallas, Texas. She was united in marriage November 8, 1991 to Scott Allen Scherb in Garland, Texas. Rhonda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will dearly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ruth Davis; and a brother, Tommy Davis.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Scott Scherb; her sons, Merle Scherb and wife Lara, Lucas Scherb and wife Heather, Logan Scherb and wife Justine, and Corby Scherb; granddaughters, Brooklyn, Riley Kate, and Haegan; grandsons, Eli and Ezra; 2 sisters, Janet Webb and husband Lloyd, and Dian Roper and husband David; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
