Richard Rachel Flusche

Richard “Rachel” Paul Flusche passed away on September 23, 2021 at age 34 due to complications from Covid-19.

Mass of Christian burial is celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church in Bridgeport with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

She was born October 13, 1986 to Vikki (Verner) Flusche Kelly and Jerry Flusche in Decatur, Texas. Rachel was a graduate of Springtown High School and Weatherford College. She was the owner of Curious Trifles, a local business specializing in the acquisition and sale of rare antiques and vintage items.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Flusche.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Vikki, and step-father, Mark of Hurst; sister, Margret Flusche of North Richland Hills; brother, Chris Flusche and wife Robyn of Decatur; her nieces, Lexi, Audra, Hannah, and Kinnadi.
