Richard Weldon Hamm

Burleson ~ Richard Weldon Hamm, 77, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Burleson, Texas.

Family will receive friends 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Richard was born July 19, 1943 to Rauls Weldon and Lois Ruth (Wiggins) Hamm in Fort Worth, Texas. He married his wife, Donna, on March 14, 1963 in Newark, Texas. They were married 54 years till her passing in 2017.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Terry Hamm and wife Dena of Burleson, and Randy Hamm and wife Cynthia of Burleson; his daughter, Shellie Romero and husband Joe of Burleson;  grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Andrew, Lacey, Shelby, Richie, Felicia, Anthony, Joe, Marissa, and Chyna; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Bennett and Paula Lowery; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 2 sons, William and Ricky Hamm.
