Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Chris Paladino, Paul Paladino, Joel Leekin, Trevor Bartlett, Timothy Pemberton, and Brandon Pemberton.
Richard was born on March 1, 1950 to Paul and Carmella (Barberise) Paladino in Brooklyn, New York. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Richard was united in marriage to Carol Ann Mara on June 2, 1995 in Rocky Point, New York.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Carol Ann Paladino of Decatur; his sons, Chris and Paul Paladino, both of New York; his daughters, Michele Paladino-Leekin and Tara Federico, both of New York; his sister, Vera Anzalone of New York; 5 grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
