Decatur: Richard Allan Park, 76, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 4, 2010 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas with Reverend John Redfearn officiating.
Pallbearers include Brandon Park, Logan Park, Kevin Wray, Russell Park, Travis Barnes, Zane Park and Zach Park.
Richard was born May 20, 1934 in Bedford, Iowa to Finis Downing and Ruby Alice Stephens Park. He married Donna Belle Davidson on June 7, 1955 in Bedford, Iowa. Richard retired from Ozark Airlines after 30 years of service. After his retirement, he began another career in 1985 with James Wood Motors in Decatur as Sales Manager. Richard was a member of Community Church, Ozark Airline Association and Chisholm Trail Tractor Club.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Donna Park of Decatur; three sons, Stephen Park and wife, Julie of Paradise, Randal Park and wife, Dainya and David Park and wife, Michelle both of Decatur; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Ann Park.
