Richard Dale "Ricky" Hudson

Denton ~ Richard Dale “Ricky” Hudson, 64, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 20, 2021.

Graveside Service is 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Sweetwater Cemetery in Decatur.

Jimmy Horner will officiate.

Ricky was born April 12, 1957 to Bill and Susie Virginia (Alexander) Hudson in Fort Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage March 12, 1980 to Judy Tipps in Denton, Texas. Ricky was a retired truck driver, after many years in the transportation industry. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Wayne Hudson; 2 brothers, Donald and Marshall Lee Hudson; and a sister, Katherine Hudson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Judy Hudson of Denton; his son, Marshall Dale Hudson of Denton; 4 sisters, Carolyn Horner, Ann Harrington, Renna Grundy, and Penny Hudson Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
