Ricky Francis Curtis

Ricky Francis Curtis, 77, went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 16, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Memorial will be at a later date at DFW National Cemetery.

Ricky was born on June 30, 1947 in Panama Canal Zone to Mildred (Rolin) and Robert Curtis. He graduated from Hinsdale High School in Chicago and went on to be a Logistics Manager at GATX for 20 years. Ricky was a Veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam at which time he was honored with several metals. He was united in marriage to Barbara Curtis Thompson on June 30, 1969 in Chicago, IL and they remained married for 44 years until her passing December 29, 2013. Ricky deeply loved and cared for his family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Timothy Curtis; his daughter, Kelly Smith and husband Todd of Paradise; his grandchildren, Casey Danielson, Nathan Hill, and Chandler Smith; his great-grandchild, Josiah Danielson; his sister, Sandi Curtis; numerous other Family and a host of friends.
