Decatur ~ Ricky Lee Scheller, 59, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur Chapel. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur.
Ricky was born on August 6, 1957 to B.F. and Jessie (Eary) Scheller in Hobbs New Mexico. He was united in marriage to Mary Srader on February 9, 1978 in Bridgeport. Ricky was a custodian at James Woods Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister; his brother.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Mary Scheller of Decatur; his daughter, Virginia Scheller of Decatur; his sons, Alvin Herrington and wife Kristi of Snyder, Damon Scheller and wife Glenda of Decatur, and Randy Scheller and wife Valerie of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Alvin Jr., Makayla, Abbey, Brynn, Stephanie and Brittanie; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, 3 brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
