Ricky Dale Stockard

Chico~ Ricky Dale Stockard, 69, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 28th, 2023 in Chico.

Memorial Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Ricky was born on September 12, 1953 to Nelson and Wysonda (Clifton) Stockard in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was a Heavy Equipment operator for Hanson Aggregate in Bridgeport for many years. Ricky was united in marriage to the love of his life, Vivian Sue Loper on January 27th, 1971 in Decatur, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, who will be missed by all that knew and loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Wysonda Stockard; and his brothers, Carl Wayne and Wendell Stockard.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Sue Stockard of Chico; his daughter, Stephanie Styles and husband Arthur of Chico; his son, Bobby Stockard of Chico; his 7 grandchildren, J.D. Parketon and wife Shaln of Azle,  Tandler Vaughn and wife Lauren of Colorado, Brittany Pearson of Chico, Brooklyn and Bailey Hancock of McGregor, Texas, Kayla Parketon of Burkburnett, and Sydnie Parketon of Chico, his 13 great-grandchildren;  his sister, Joyce McDaniel and husband Harold of Chico; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
