Rita Faye Haley

Paradise ~ Rita Faye Haley, 72, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Paradise.

Graveside service is 2 PM Thursday at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rita was born on September 1, 1949 to Alfred Dixon and Billie Ruth (Austin) Argo in Colingua, California. She was united in marriage to Garry L. Haley on October 14, 1972 in Carrollton. Rita was a Boy Scouts of America leader for over 40 years before retiring. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Donna Argo Knight.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Garry L. Haley of Paradise; 2 sons, Darryl Lee Haley of Bridgeport and Michael Hastings and wife Stephanie of Aurora; her sister, Linda Austin Shearer of Corpus Christi; her brother, Richard Charles Argo of Lubbock; her niece, Rebecca Ray of Sanger; her nephew, Shawn Ray of Sanger; 2 friends, Cathy and Joe Gardner of Alvord; other relatives and a host of friends.
