Robby Handlon

Decatur ~ Robby Handlon, 60, of Decatur died Friday, July 30, 2021 in Arlington, Texas.

A Celebration of Life Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Robby was born February 5, 1961 to Robert Douglas and Duronda Elaine (Potts) Handlon in Pasadena, Texas. He graduated from New Caney High School. He married the love of his life, Leigh Ann Badger, on July 10, 1982 at the Flatwood Baptist Church in Decatur, Texas. Captain Rob was a beloved husband, father, Cappy, brother, uncle, and friend.
Robby was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Leigh Ann Handlon of Decatur; his son, Kris Handlon and wife Tiffany of Decatur; his daughter, Allie Henderson and husband Colter of Hobbs, New Mexico; he was “Cappy” to 2 grandsons, Brooks and Bodie Handlon, and  1 granddaughter on the way, Creely Henderson; 2 sisters, Pam Rollins and husband Larry of Onalaska, and Karen Parish and husband Wayne of New Caney; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
