Newark ~ Robert A. Ahlstrand Sr., 75, a retired bus driver, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 16, 2016 in Newark.
Memorial service is 6:00 p.m. Monday, December, 19, 2016 at Christian Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.
Rev. Phillip Weitner will officiate.
Robert was born on June 22, 1941 to Henning and Agnes Ahlstrand in Detroit, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Bobby Ahlstrand of Decatur; his daughters, Patricia Dixon and husband Calvin of Fort Worth, Laura Meyer of Decatur, Victoria Ahlstrand and husband Brandon Whisenant of Newark; 15 grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
