Robert Lee Carter was born on October 19, 1931, the son of June Milton and Stella Mae (Teague) Carter, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He married Elois Hardin on February 2, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Alvord.
Left behind to cherish his memory: wife, Elois Hardin Carter of Chico; sons, Randy Carter of Fort Worth, Ozie Carter and wife Cindy of Chico; granddaughter, Connie Davidson of Bridgeport; great grandchild, Cooper Lane Davidson of Bridgeport.
