Robert Edward Casey, Sr.

Aurora ~ Robert Edward Casey, Sr, 78, of Aurora went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Alliance.

Funeral will be 5:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.  Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Pastor Duane Tracy will officiate.

Robert was born March 28, 1943 to Ruth (Meyers) Casey in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He was raised by Jack and Ruth Mitchell. Upon completing his education, he worked for the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers.  Robert was united in marriage to the love of his life, Yvonne Crain on April 2, 1977 in Waterford, Michigan.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Robert Don Casey.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Yvonne Casey of Aurora; his children, Tammy Sue Withem and husband Mitchell of Haltom City, Tina Marie Grau and husband Russell of Idaho, Teresa Miller of Lake Worth, Sherry Lynn Prater of Burleson, Robert Edward Casey, Jr. and wife Julie of Azle, and Randy Lynn Casey and wife Robin of Springtown; 43 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Sharlene York of Glen Rose; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
