Decatur ~ Robert “Bob” Cole, 82, went to be with our Lord Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Decatur.
Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Rev. Terry Brown will officiate.
Robert was born on June 1, 1934 to Lewis and Betty (Bulla) Cole in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was united in marriage to Billie Brown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Robert retired from Peterbilt as an assembly line worker. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 2 brothers.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Barbara Banks of Riverside, California, Rhonda Carr of Las Vegas, Nevada; his sons, Jim Cole and wife Debbie of Decatur, Bruce Cole of Riverside, California; his sisters, Patsy Cole of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Linda Hebb and husband Randy of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Gerry McDonaugh of Little Washington, Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
