Paradise ~ Robert Earl Deering, 58, a load operator for Hanson, went to be with our Lord Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Paradise.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Demmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Christopher Coan, David Deering, Blake Long, Nocona Skelton, Wayne Robinson, and Justin Skelton.
Robert was born on August 16, 1958 to Clyde and Mary (Maddux) Deering in Bridgeport. He was united in marriage to Marsha Buckner on July 19, 1988 in Bridgeport. Robert worked for Hanson Aggregates for 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Perry Deering.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Marsha A. Deering of Paradise; his daughter, Rhonda Rae of Paradise; his son, David Ray of Paradise; his grandchildren, Bladden Guinn, Marshall Ray Miller, Billy Ray Deering, and Sadie Rae Deering; his brothers, Clyde Deering and wife Carla of Chico, Gary Deering of Paradise, and John Deering of Chico; his sisters, Lane Deering of Chico, Sherry Deering of Paradise, Liz Long and husband Blake of Chico, and Stella Deering of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
