Chico: Robert Lee Hight, 64, a pumper, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Bridgeport.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
The Reverend Dale Webster will officiate.
Robert was born May 17, 1946 to Norman and Juanita (Blake) Hight in Vernon, Texas. He was in the U.S. Navy and served his country in the Vietnam War. Robert was an oilfield pumper for C D Roustabout.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman R. Hight.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters, Carolyn Scheller and Cheryil Bellah, both of Chico; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
