Robert Benjamin "Ben" Holly

Decatur ~ Robert “Ben” Holly, 74, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 2, 2023.

Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Ken Hering and Bill Cleveland will officiate.

Ben was born July 16, 1948 to Leroy Odom and Mildred (Finley) Holly in Artesia, New Mexico. He was united in marriage June 30, 1990 to Deborah Jean Hollis Beck in Euless, Texas. Ben was a retired draftsmen for Architecture, spent many years in the architectural industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Mildred Holly.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Holly of Decatur; his son, Rob Holly and wife Rebecca of Ft. Worth; his grandson, Remington Holly of Ft. Worth; his brother, Richard Holly and wife Gloria of San Antonio; a sister, Margie Aaron and husband Randy of San Antonio; his step-son, Daron Beck; extended family members and a host of friends.
