Robert W. Nobles

Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, January 3rd at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Bellar officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Matt Badger, Wesley Badger, Curtis Badger, Nick Stupka, Patrick Nobles, Rowdy Lisby and Gary Caraway.

Bob was born October 22, 1932 in Decatur to Arthur Ray "Sage" and Annie (Rhine) Nobles. He was united in marriage to Sandra K. Montgomery on July 20, 1972 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Bob retired from the Texas Highway Department after 32 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Nobles; three daughters, Michele Fennell and husband Bill, Dede Badger and husband Kyle and Teri Houchin and husband Tom; son, Charles Mark Montgomery and wife Catherine all of Decatur; brother, Billy Ray Nobles and wife Billie Faye of Henrietta; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
