Robert was born March 31, 1967 to O’Dell and Jessie (Mayberry) Ransom in Denton, Texas. He was united in marriage June 10, 1989 to Ann Denise Johnson in Decatur, Texas.

Robert was a maintenance technician for A Gas in Rhome. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O’Dell and Jessie Ransom; a sister and 3 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann Ransom of Boyd; his 2 daughters, Summer and Magan Ransom of Boyd; his son, Robert Ransom, Jr. of Boyd; 4 sisters, Lottie Williams, Odessa Kelley, Juanita Bullard, and Lucy Ransom; his 2 brothers, Walter and Jessie Ransom; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
