I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I never worked under Bob, but worked on Bob's floor in another department downtown. He was such a sweet and kind person and everyone on the floor loved him. I believe he retired before I left there to take another position in the Farmers Branch area. I ran into him some years later at Fellowship Church, where we were both members. I briefly visited with him each time I ran into him there. Again, I know he was a very loving & attentive husband and father. So sorry for your loss.. May God be with your family during this difficult time.

Sharon
Please accept my sincere condolences. Bob was such a kind and gentle man. He was a mentor to me and so many of our Foreign Resident Administration staff. He always had a smile and always had time to share his experiences. He worked so hard but we all knew that Bob put family number one.
You may recall that I organized his retirement dinner in Dallas (which took some arm twisting of Bob!). While we knew that he never wanted to be the center of attention or to be recognized for his accomplishments he seemed to delight in that recognition evening. We all had fun recalling his successes and enjoying his humor. He is remembered so fondly and he will be missed!
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,

Sharon,
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I was saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I recently moved back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area after years in the Hill Country. A friend contacted me in March asking if he could give my contact info to Bob, whom he had met at the rehabilitation center where his heart issues had taken him. He and Bob became quite close during that time. Both of them loved to talk and tell stories of their experiences. I worked with Bob in Corsicana in the early 1970's while we were both with Mobil Pipe Line Company. I have so many wonderful memories of that time. Bob was a man of integrity and helped me in many ways during that tumultuous time for women in the oil industry. I always appreciated his efforts on my behalf. Bob was funny, ultra conservative, honorable, trust worthy, that rare human being we all strive to be. I have so many funny stories in my memories that I have cherished and retold numerous times over the years. I regret that he and I did not have the opportunity to reconnect and exchange memories.
May God be with you in the coming days and may Bob rest in peace.
