Graveside service is 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29th at Paradise Cemetery with Reverend David Kelly officiating. Family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Wayne Tipton, Bryan Tipton, Greg Lowery, Zachary Tipton, Clifford Turpin and Danny Turpin.
Robert was born August 12, 1942 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Gerald William and Marjorie Elizabeth (Butler) Tipton. He married Sharon Jo Turpin on January 15, 1965 in Buena Vista, Colorado. Robert was past President of Idaho Paint Horse Association, served in US Air Force, and was a member of the Baptist church.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years, Sharon Tipton; daughter, Mirenda Lowery and husband, Greg; sons, Wayne Tipton and wife Olga, Bryan Tipton; and 10 grandchildren, all of Paradise.
