Rocky was born July 27, 1961 to Herman Odell and Kaleta May (Simpson) Pryor in Dallas, Texas. He was a Certified Auto Mechanic. Rocky was a member of Fundamental Baptist Church.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Kaleta Pryor of Decatur; his daughters, Tosha Pryor, Crystal Pryor, and Janelle Pryor all of Decatur; his son, Rocky Odell Pryor of Decatur; his step-sonsStevie Pittman, Jacob Pittman, and Robert Pittman all of Illinois; his brothers, Gary Pryor, and Larry Pryor and wife Darlene all of Decatur; his sisters, Susan Wall and husband Johnny of Decatur, Charlotte King and husband David of Alvord, and Barbara Cansler and husband Kenneth of Chico; his grandchildren, Ashley, Makenna, Daniel, Alivia, and Ryder; and his sister-in-law, Kathy Pryor of Decatur; extended family and a host of friends.
