Roger Lee Ridenour

Decatur ~ Roger Lee Ridenour, 66, went to be with our Lord Saturday, May 29, 2021.

Roger was born March 24, 1955 to Ellis “Jack” Lee and Florence Marie (New) Ridenour in Stamford, Texas. He was united in marriage July 15, 1977 to Kathy Jean Knight in Anson, Texas. Roger was a retired railroad constructor for BNSF. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years Kathy Ridenour of Decatur; his daughters, Terri Porter and husband Marvin of Alvord, and Tamara Schultz and husband Cody of Decatur; 7 grandchildren, Jason Porter, and wife Sarah, Jessica Silvey and husband Jonathan, Emilee Newton, Jon Newton, Josh Newton, Andrew Schultz, and Ava Schultz; 2 great-grandchildren, Cooper and Oakley Silvey; 2 sisters, Barabra Bradshaw and husband Alan, and Sandra Rollins and husband Jack; extended family members and a host of friends.
