Rolan Michael Henley

Sunset ~ Rolan Michael Henley, 32, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sunset, family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Jerry Raines will officiate.

Rolan was born August 13, 1987 to Rolan S. Henley and Tammy Thomas in Bedford, Texas. He graduated from Plano West High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rowe Henley, Robert Thomas and Ed Dawson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father, Rolan Henley and wife, Christy of Sunset; his mother, Tammy Thomas of Ft. Worth; his sisters, Shannon Henley of The Colony, and Sharon Stasierowski and husband, Steven of Allen, Kendall McLeod and fiancé, Michael Fallon of Denton; brother, Wesley Minks of Cameron, North Carolina; his grandparents, Don and Sylvia Butcher of Chico, Sandra Henley of Hurst, and Lynda Dawson of Argyle; his aunts and uncles; Jon and Lois Henley, Teresa and Bobby Herring, Peggy Royce, Mike and Ana Thomas, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to a charity that is for Juvenile Diabetes.
