Rhome: Ronald Jay Laxson, 62, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Decatur.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Ronald was born March 23, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Jack and Edna Rae Hamblin Laxson. He was a truck driver for MBM Customized Food Service Distribution for 10 years. Ronald served in the United States Marines and was a member of the Baptist church. He married Linda Sue McClure on July 24, 1995 in Oklahoma City.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Sue Laxson of Rhome; two sons, Jay Laxson of Oklahoma City and Eric Naro of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Heather Brewer of Fort Worth; brother, Donald Laxson of Florida; mother, Edna Rae Hamblin; sister, Janet Hart of San Antonio; and five (5) grandchildren.

We're were so sorry to hear about Ronald's passing. I (Deb) always remember Ronald as smiling and laughing. We regret that we can't be there with you this evening. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers.
