Ronald James Silhan

Chico ~ Ronald (Ron) Silhan, 63, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 18, 2018 in Decatur.

Memorial is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur.

Ron was born on February 18, 1955 to James and Billie (Irwin) Silhan in Slayton, Texas. Ron was a welder inspector for the oilfield. He loved welding. He was a loving man, great friend and amazing grandfather.

Ron loved riding Harleys, especially with his wife. They rode many miles of the country side.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammye Burkett of Alvord; his father, James Silhan of Levelland; his sons, Jamie Silhan of Odessa, Kyle Silhan of Odessa, Kerry Silhan and wife Blair of Odessa; his step son, Wyndell Burkett of Alvord; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his sister, Phyllis Davis of Duncan, Oklahoma; his brother, Randy Silhan of Odessa; his nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
