Paradise ~ Ronny Rhine, 71, a retired pumper, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pastor Jorge Vazquez of Eagle Drive Baptist Church will officiate.
Ronny was born on November 15, 1942 to A.C. and Frankie (Miller) Rhine in Decatur. He was united in marriage to Robbie Thompson on December 21, 1977 in Bridgeport. Ronny was a retired pumper for Mitchell Energy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 30 years, Robbie Rhine; his son, Michael Rhine; his sister, Claudia Marion; his brothers, Art Rhine and Charles Rhine.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ronda Minor of Corinth; his son, Bret Rhine and wife Christie of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his sister, Joy Cogburn of Amarillo; his brother, Jerry Rhine of Justin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
