Decatur ~ Rosa Lee Wilson, 82, a hairdresser, went to be with our Lord Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Decatur.
Graveside is 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at Sycamore Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Rosa was born on April 15, 1934 to Jake and Dora (Bennett) Johnson in Hawthorn, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Gaylen Wilson in 1976 in Glen Rose Texas. Rosa retired from hairdressing after 40 years. Rosa was 1 of 10 children; her sisters, Mary, Violet, Eva, Myrtle, Helen, Linda; her brothers, Jerry, James, and Charles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Ted Wilson and Ricky Wilson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Gaylen Wilson of Decatur; her sons, Dennis Wilson and wife Connie of Greenwood, and Robert Wilson of Greenwood; her daughter, Shirley Russell Dean and husband Jeff of Wichita Falls, Texas; her step-daughters, Joy Malone of Greenwood, Gay Cole of Greenwood, Lynn Shirley and husband Ron of Decatur; her 22 grandchildren; her 31 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
