Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 23rd at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Moore and Reverend Scott Gray officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sycamore Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Colton Griffeth, Caleb Griffeth, Forest Croft, Alexander Griffeth, Zachary Griffeth and Tanner Griffeth.
Rosemary was born on June 8, 1944 in Eagle Pass, Texas to John Edward and Mary Ellen Elizabeth (Montanye) Hunter, Jr. She married Nolan Griffeth on June 9, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. Rosemary retired as former owner of "Mode-O-Day", a dress shop in Decatur. She was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Nolen Griffeth of Decatur; three sons, Gregory Griffeth and wife, JoAnn of Decatur, Derek Griffeth and wife, Audra of Fort Worth; Shane Griffeth and wife, Jessica of Visalia, California; six grandsons, Colton, Caleb, Forest, Alexander, Zachary and Tanner Griffeth; great granddaughter, Rorey Griffeth; two sisters, Kay Broom and husband, Jerry of Granbury, Teresa Fisher and husband, Bobby of Montgomery, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Rosemary is preceded by her parents; and granddaughter, Heather Griffeth.
