Murphy ~ Rose Mary McCoy, 78, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in Murphy, TX.

Funeral Service is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport, TX with burial at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.

Pastor Rick Davis will officiate. Pallbearers include Russell McCoy, Reagan McCoy, Ryan D. McCoy, Allen Broyles, Steve Standefer, and Logan McCoy.

Rose Mary was born on November 11, 1945 to W.D. Martin and Attie (Rogers) Martin in Houston, TX. She was united in marriage to Rodney McCoy on April 24, 1966 in Ardmore, OK.  Rose Mary was owner and operator of R & M Trophies. She then earned her degree and worked for Sprint Telecommunications until she retired.  She was active in PTA and Band Boosters for her children. She had a great sense of humor, with 3 boys she had too.  She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them and of course spoiling them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney McCoy; and her parents.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Russell DuWayne McCoy and wife Jennifer McCoy of Murphy, TX, Ryan D. McCoy and wife Janelle McCoy of Portland, OR, and Reagan Daniel McCoy of Los Angeles, CA; her grandchildren, Logan McCoy, Katie (McCoy) Landers, Emma Rose McCoy and Lousia McCoy; her great-grandchildren, Colton Kraus, Freya Rose McCoy, Elliot Wren McCoy, Hallie James Landers; her sister, Bobbie Morris of Chico; other family members and a host of friends.
