Ross Mueller

Decatur ~ Ross Mueller, 82, of Decatur went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his home in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Decatur Church of Christ with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rick Ross, Gerre Joiner, and Phillip Askey will be officiating. Pallbearers include Weldon Taylor, Danny Taylor, Russell Necessary, Brian Schroeder, Kevin Crocker, Chip Davis, Russell Stephens, and Kyle Stephens. Honorary Pallbearers are Dan Rhine, Glen Rhine, Jackie Boyd, Bill Schroeder, and Vernon Schroeder.

Ross was born April 13, 1937 to Fritz and Emilie Ida (Anz) Mueller in Georgetown, Texas. He married Arma Jean Davis on October 24, 1958 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Ross worked as a company man for Long Oil Company and Sandford Oil Company for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Arma Mueller of Decatur; his son, Bart Mueller of Decatur; a sister, Lanell Mueller of Clifton; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
