Roy James Dykes

Paradise ~ Roy James Dykes, 87, a retired Marine Tech, went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Justin.

Roy was born on May 8, 1933 to Albert and Loval (Clark) Dykes in Knox City, Texas. He was united in marriage to Lillian Price on May 30, 1957 in Irving. Roy proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his grandson, Joshua Dykes.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brenda Weightman of Fort Worth; his son, Preston Dykes and wife Sherry of Cottondale; his grandchildren, Kacie Stevens of Boyd, Deann Carlisle and husband Cashen, and Micheal Ambrose; his great-grandchildren, Zachary Dykes, Chance Boyd, Zane Dykes, and Destiny Stevens; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
