Boyd ~ Roy Adron Inman, 91, a retired mechanical engineer, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Boyd.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #2, in Keeter. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel.
Pastor Jim Edwards will officiate. Pallbearers include Dickie Inman, Tory McNeely, Shane McNeely, Matt McNeely, John Newby and Haston Abbott.
Roy was born on August 17, 1924 to Willie and Addie Cleo (Alexander) Inman in Boyd. He was united in marriage to Joan Elizabeth Mabra in 1950 in Fort Worth.
Roy retired from Massey Ferguson after 40 years as a mechanical engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Dickie Adron Inman; his brother, Ralph Inman; and his sister, Billie Sue Latham.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Tommy Inman of Fort Worth; his daughter, Susie Inman of Boyd; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; his brother, Robert Inman of Boyd; his sisters, Darlene Downe of Decatur, Velta McNutt of Fort Worth, and Jacquline Hudson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 15 nieces and nephews; other family members and a host of friends.
