Funeral: 3 p.m. Sunday, December 13, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home. Interment: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 Saturday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral home in Boyd. Officiating is the Reverend Terry Terry.
Pallbearers: Darin Etter, Daryl Etter, Chris Etter, Tony Greer, Phillip White and James Pickens. Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Lambert and Jim Lambert.
Royce was born May 19, 1941 to Roy and Bertha (Taylor) Etter in Boyd, Texas. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt and fish.
Those left behind to chereish his memory are his sons, Brent Etter of Boyd, Roy Neil Etter and wife Kathy of Boyd; Kevin Herrera of Houston, daughter, Tammie Burkhalter and husband Kurt of Corinth; brothers, Donald Etter and wife Pat of Boyd, James Etter and wife Patty of Boyd; 4 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
