Ruby Lois (Watson) Morrow

Bridgeport ~Ruby Lois Morrow, 92, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Saturday December 28th, 2019 in Bridgeport.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Gary Dimmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Trent Morrow, Shane Morrow, Cody Morrow, Alan Green, Aaron Green, Wayne Babbitt and Bobby Hawkins.

Lois was born on June 25th, 1927 to Oscar Raymond and Roxie Gladys (McGuire) Watson in Crafton, Texas. She was united in marriage to V.L. Morrow on August 14th, 1943 in Bridgeport, Texas. Lois lived a wonderful life and had witnessed and lived thru 15 United States Presidents. She was loved by all that knew her and will be dearly missed by her many friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband V.L. Morrow; her grandchildren, Juantia June Morrow and Donella Marie Morrow; her sisters Bonnie Joyce Green and Mary Ann Reasoner.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Paul Morrow of Whitney, Billy Morrow and wife Sandra of Bridgeport; her daughter, Linda Morrow Green and husband Gary of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Debbie Morrow, Trent Morrow and wife Misty, Judy Jackson, Roxanna Babbitt and husband Wayne, Shane Morrow, Danita Hawkins and husband Bobby, Cody Morrow, Aaron Green, Alan Green and wife Kristy; 13 great grandchildren; her brothers, Leon Watson and wife Linda of DeSoto, Harold Watson and wife Dorothy of Bridgeport; her sister, Reba Nell Leake and husband Jack of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
