Decatur ~ Rusty Laray Aaron, 26, an oilfield production and sales manager, went to be with our Lord Friday, October 12, 2012 in Kendall County, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16th at First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pastor Joe Caballero and Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Colby Williams, Greg Glover, Travis Wilson, Jack Sandford, Dillon Erwin, and Kyle Hopf. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Taylor, Bud Enis, James McGilvray, John Brown, Brad Richey, Ronnie Erwin, John Dunlap, Jeff Webber, Reggie Hickerson, Steve Hollinsworth, Kyle Allison, John Carpenter, and John Teague.

Rusty was born on August 11, 1986 to Ray and Melinda (Pannell) Aaron in Fort Worth. He was a graduate of Slidell High School in 2005 and Tarleton State University. Rusty was a member of the Montague County Cowboy Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bennie Merle Pannell and Imogene Aaron; his grandfather, Ray Aaron Sr.; and his uncle Clinton Pannell.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Ray and Melinda Aaron of Decatur; his sister, Randi Anderson of Forestburg; his grandfather, Waymon Pannell of Decatur; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
