Ruth A. (Cage) Bramlett

Decatur ~ Ruth A. (Cage) Bramlett, 96, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial at Pleasant Grove #3. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Bill Cleveland will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ruth’s grandchildren.

Ruth was born October 30, 1924 to Ed and Minnie (Forrester) Cage in Duncan, Oklahoma. She attended Alvord High School and was a member of First Baptist in Alvord. Ruth was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Minnie Cage; her husband, Kelly Bob Bramlett; 3 brothers; 2 sisters, and her great-granddaughter, Abby Bramlett.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patsy Harris and husband Gene of Arlington; her sons, Danny Bramlett and wife Suzanne of Benbrook, and Rick Bramlett and wife Sherry of Decatur; 7 grandchildren, Brent Harris and wife Trish, Julee Manson, Marcus Bramlett and wife Lindsey, Cameron Bramlett and wife Megan, Laura Foreman and husband Josh, Clay Bramlett and wife Kelly, and Chris Bramlett and wife Mandy; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Aline Fuller; her brother, JO Cage; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
