Ruth Tally Cox, 92, formerly of Decatur, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in Allen.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Friday before the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Pallbearers include Clay Stark, Brandon Stark, Colin Stark and Steve White.
Ruth was born on September 19, 1919 to John and Florence (Alford) Tally in Joy, Texas. She was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Johnye; and her sister, Floyce Hawkins.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheryl Stark and husband Ron of Fairview; her grandchildren, Clay, Colin, Brandon, and Kim; her great grandchildren, Michael, Savannah, and Hunter; other family members and a host of friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Aunt Ruth as being sweet and funny. We visited y'all so many times as I was growing up. What a lovely lady.
